The old farm house fell in back in the 80's but my grandfather 5 times removed had built the farmhouse there in the years after the Civil War. You can really step back in time in Wilkes, Talifero, and Oglethorpe county. These places really have not changed all that much in the last 60 years. vista7https://www.blogger.com/profile/02972049827332618728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5106778305264165510.post-54473617081516849632019-11-18T13:01:07.047-05:002019-11-18T13:01:07.047-05:00Wow I'm falling in love with the area the old ...Wow I'm falling in love with the area the old graveyards need some attention before they're unreadable though the owner is probably near byAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15019075791815286229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5106778305264165510.post-80859557177613673232019-07-07T06:18:31.149-04:002019-07-07T06:18:31.149-04:00Interesting story and nice to hear some history ab...Interesting story and nice to hear some history about this wonderful place.Karen and Alhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15284661066870109259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5106778305264165510.post-78886337143276125052018-08-26T16:26:46.503-04:002018-08-26T16:26:46.503-04:00Eli Sherrill was my grandfather.
